Andrea + Paul + baby belly
This was a fun shoot. So nice mix it up and have a little fun down at Balboa Park. I forget how beautiful and how many options there are for creativity.

The light was amazing down in this garden.

Comfort and security with eachother.

Grounded in life.

Summer at Eli Howard Surf School
I spent some time this summer down at the beach with the crew from Eli Howard Surf School. It's much different than doing portrait work, but fun none the less (who can complain about hangin' out in a bikini, toes in the sand, loving the sun!) They are an amazing group of people that are extremely good at what they do and are enthusiastic about it.

There is so much beauty and peace to find at our beaches. So much to cherish, value and protect. I love that this is something Eli Howard feels is important to teach, along with surfing. You'll not only learn how to surf, you'll learn marine ecology and respect for our environment.

There are two locations to choose from during summer. The main location is settled at the San Elijo Campgrounds in Cardiff, CA (seen here above). The other is North Moonlight. Good Morning Moonlight!

Others sign up to tune their skills and enjoy the ocean and surfing.

I had such a positive experience at Eli Howard and every parent and kid I talked to said the same. People come back year after year, it's the highlight of kids summers. They're just the best at what they do. At the end of the day, it's like you've been hangin' out with family. . . that is, totally cool family! I think I'm missing summer already.

Little sister Penelope
I love the name, and how cute is she! I think she might look like Dad! And, I can't not mention how stunning and sweet the rest of the family is. Good to see you all again.

Boy or Girl?
My job is so amazing because I'm able to meet families like this, and for one day (and the extra hours I spend editing all the images I've created!) I get to be apart of the once-in-a-lifetime, love-filled moment they're experiencing. It's a unique feeling to be able to observe the love and care of a family you've just met, in one of the most important events of their lives. Will it be a boy or girl? I can't wait to find out, and wish them all the best.

Moments In Bloom
A couple of my very talented friends, which I have many of, are owners and designers of Moments in Bloom, a floral design company located here in North County Coastal. Recently we photographed some of there latest designs for San Diego Style Weddings Magazine, coming out this Fall, in which they will have some of their beautiful florals and tablescapes featured. Their designs are always unique, creative and amazingly gorgeous. You can find Dede and Tara on the web at www.momentsinbloom.com
